What we collect
We collect the data you give us (email, username, display name, date of birth, profile bio, bike details, listing details, forum posts) and minimal usage data needed to operate the service (IP address, login timestamps for audit logs).
Date of birth
We store your date of birth privately for age verification. It is never exposed via any public profile or API. It cannot be changed after account creation.
Image metadata
Every image you upload is re-encoded server-side before being stored. EXIF metadata — including GPS coordinates — is stripped.
How we store your data
Your account and content are held on industry-standard cloud infrastructure inside the UK and EU. Personal data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use a secure email delivery service for transactional emails (sign-up, verification, password reset) and an image storage and delivery service for photos.
Children (under 13)
RIDDR is not available to people under 13. If we discover an under-13 account we delete it. Parents and guardians can email safety@riddr.io to flag an account.
Your GDPR rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or request erasure. Email go@riddr.io from the email address on your account.
